The Vermilion Parish Job Fair welcomes employers throughout Acadiana to get to know the home-grown talent Vermilion has to offer.  The three-part Vermilion Parish Job Fair Series is being hosted by workforce, economic development, education, and chamber partners from around the region.  The events include a Jobseeker Training, Employer Breakfast (Workshop) and Job Fair.

There will be a Jobseeker Training event March 14th to help jobseekers maximize success. Human resource professionals will be on-hand to review resumes and provide insight on job searching in Acadiana.

Employers can beef up their skills with an Employer Breakfast April 4th. Presenting sponsor Allen & Gooch will be providing an update on employment law for those companies interested. The admittance for this seminar is waived for those business who will also be attending the fair.

On Wednesday, April 17th Abbeville High School will be filled with top notch employers looking to fill positions.  In 2016, the fair’s inaugural year, the event attracted more than 50 employers and 700 jobseekers! Employers who choose to participate in the fair can expect a dedicated booth space with table and seating, a hospitality room, highly-skilled jobseekers, application room and a catered lunch and debriefing session. Job seekers should bring resumes and dress for success.
