Nunu’s Country Market plans to expand its services to become the first full-service grocery store in the Village of Maurice.
The new store will be near the intersection of highways 167 and 92.
It will be six times larger than the current one and provide 75 more jobs.
Right now, they are in the architecture phase of the project and will soon be meeting with contractors, so it’s too early to know when the store will open.
“The community has supported us so much, and it’s time we give back. We love trying to support the community in any way we can, and one of the things the community needs is a full-service grocery store,” said Nunu’s president and co-owner Blaine Broussard.
