Our Mission
The mission of Vermilion Economic Development Alliance is to facilitate business growth, retention and expansion, and serve as the contact for industry interested in relocating to Vermilion Parish, Louisiana.
Our Philosophy
As an economic development district we have the luxury of operating at the speed of business without the burden of government red tape, but as an alliance we get the benefit of working alongside our elected officials and local municipalities toward a common goal.

Board Meetings & Minutes
The Economic Development board meets regularly on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 PM. The meetings are held at the Vermilion Parish Government Annex Building, 407 Charity Street, in Abbeville, Louisiana. In the event of a parish holiday or scheduling conflict, an appropriate time and place will be selected for the rescheduled meeting. On those occasions, the time and place will be made available by calling the office at (337) 740-0433.
Agendas are posted on the door of the Annex Building 24 hours before the meeting time.
